Castle Leslie Estate worked its magic once again for Jessica and Dave’s wedding in April. While the rest of the country was experiencing heavy hailstones and rain, we had nothing but sunshine in Glaslough village.
A wedding at this venue is always very special.
Jessica was meticulous with her planning and organising, with the dresses and details already beautifully laid out when I arrived.
A short drive took us from Jessica’s bridal preparations in her sister’s gorgeous cottage to their ceremony in Dollingstown.
Dave sang as Jessica walked up the aisle… a very brave man!
Jessica and Dave travelled in his grandfather’s old Mk2 Golf instead of hiring a traditional wedding car. It was a really personal touch.
Castle Leslie looked fantastic in the sunshine.
This really is the perfect location for documentary photography. The drinks reception rooms are stunning and provide lots of opportunities for the guests to chat in comfort.
The evening reception was held in the castle’s permanent marquee.
Jessica’s laugh was amazing.
The best man Clive had prepared a series of instructions for building another Dave.
Tractor humour 🙂
And then it was time to dance the night away.
If you’re planning a Castle Leslie wedding, I would love to hear from you.
